What is a Security Assessment and How Do I Get One? 

A security assessment is an official visit with CPD where they will tour your business and make suggestions on how you can use the grant money to increase security. They will then send you a report with their suggestions. 

 

You can schedule an assessment with either:

Officer Roger Heath Jr: Roger.HeathJr@chicagopolice.org  

 

They are the only two officers in Chicago that are certified in these assessments, so you must contact them to schedule your assessment.

What is the Assessment For?
Once you have your security assessment you will use their suggestions to get quotes from two different suppliers/contractors for the cost of upgrades and installation. We will be using these two quotes during the application process and if awarded the money it will be to complete one of these quotes from suppliers.
